Service,Openings & Closings
Pietila Pools opens pools in the spring and closes them in the fall. Call to schedule an appointment for your pool opening or closing.
Openings Include:
- Pump water off cover
- Remove and bag up leaves from cover
- Empty and clean waterbags
- Clean & fold cover
- Start-up of filter system & heater
- Install deck equipment
- Add start-up chemicals
- Note any repairs needed
- Transfer cover to specified storage
- Wash off deck
- Deliver summer maintenance chemicals on request
- Vacuum pool (dependent on water clarity.optional and additional fee)
Closings Include:
- Remove debris from bottom & surface of pool
- Drain pool water below return lines
- Add winterizing chemicals
- Blow out all lines
- Plug all lines
- Anti-freeze in lines as needed
- Remove plugs on filter and heater
- Remove deck equipment
- Install winter cover
- Cover for filter system
- Vacuum pool (optional and additional fee)
